Claudia Awamleh, MSN, FNP-C
Family Nurse Practitioner
A board certified Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Board of Nurse Practitioners. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at El Paso in 2015. Initially, she began her health career as a medical assistant (for 15 years) and subsequently became an LVN in 2006 (Dean’s List). She enjoyed 12 years in various specialties including Pediatrics, Geriatrics, Home Health, Internal Medicine, Alzheimer Units, hospice/palliative care, and wound care. Born in Germany, she enjoys dual citizenship with the United States. Her parents are immigrants from Germany and Mexico, they both used education to excel. She is a single mother of two sons. She says as her children became older, she knew she wanted more for them and to set a good example of what one can accomplish if one truly believes in one self. She then obtained a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at El Paso with a grade point average of 4.0. She is fluent in both English and Spanish. Loves softball (played for Monterey Peninsula Junior College and Humboldt State University). Played softball for over 28 years and is well accustomed to being on a team and working with others.
