Joyce Tatelman, MD

Family Practice

My name is Joyce Tatelman and I am very happy to have joined the team at Shasta Cascade Health Centers in the summer of 2022. My time is currently divided between
Shasta Cascade and my Family Practice in the Bay Area. I received my medical degree at McGill University in Canada and completed my Family medicine residency and a fellowship in Health Care for the Elderly (Geriatrics). Before medical school, I received a Bachelor of Arts at Harvard University and worked in various fields before going to medical school. I moved to California in 1996 from Montreal, Canada.

I especially enjoy developing long-term relationships with my patients and their families. I provide primary care for acute illness as well as management of chronic diseases,
annual physicals, and well woman exams. I am able to communicate with my patients in Spanish and French. I look forward to being a part of the Mount Shasta community.

“We are committed to the mission of Shasta Cascade Health Centers to offer quality health care services to our communities in an environment that is friendly, compassionate and caring.”
